I have had the privilege of presenting The Business of Me to countless women. During the years, I have seen women who were afraid to speak up when they entered the program become animated as the session’s progress. I have seen women who did not care about themselves begin to take care of themselves. I have seen women who were afraid become empowered. I have seen women who felt as if they were stupid realize they are intelligent, productive members of society. I have seen women create lasting friendships. I have seen women thrive in ways that are wonderful! |

In her book “Victory Over Violence,” Nancy shares her personal story of a woman with two lives – a life of competence at work, and a life of terror at home. She also shares how she learned to be truly free…in hopes that by sharing her story, others will learn that they can become free as well. Nancy also provides insights from her personal perspective into some of the most difficult questions often asked about victims of domestic violence. This story is precious, heartbreaking, and ultimately hopeful.
